Types of nylon braid include diamond braid, double braid & solid braid. Specifications of nylon double braid include dia. from 1/4 in. to 1 in. & circumferences from 3/4 in. to 3 in. with tensile strengths from 1,650 lbs. to 29,480 lbs. Nylon diamond braid is available in dia. from 3/32 in. to 1/4 in. with tensile strengths up to 1,550 lbs. Braid is available in 600 ft. & 1,200 ft. put-ups.
To make a double braid rope, a second diamond braid rope is braided over one similar to the above. The overbraid may be of the same fiber as the core braid, or it may be a different fiber. The overbraid may be of the same fiber as the core braid, or it may be a different fiber.
